Jnanakhadga

Jnanakhadga is the largest of the three cabins close to the retreat centre and community – it has electric lights and a socket for charging devices. It is isolated and sits at the end of a path two hundred metres from the track. From the covered patio one sees at close hand the overgrown terraces and the towering cliffs of ‘The Whale’ – an enormous rocky outcrop, hundreds of feet high, that dominates the Guhyaloka Valley. It has a more enclosed feeling that Darsendo or Arthasarana but offers endlessly fascinating hours watching the birds on the rocks and the wild goats that graze along the base of The Whale. At night wild boar frequently grunt their way through the nearby undergrowth.
