Almendra was built on the ruin of an old corral and has a pleasant small courtyard leading into a thick-walled stone building. It is the most isolated of our solitary cabins buried deep in the forest at the bottom of the valley. The path to the track is steep and rocky – a place to be truly alone. It is where one can feel enclosed, enveloped, by a wild natural environment. An idea place to practice meditation and go deep within one’s mind.
There is no solar power – this is a simple forest hut – warm and dry but basic.
